Chartiers Valley Prom

Now that Chartiers Valley’s Prom is right around the corner, major stress is approaching the students from Chartiers Valley. With all the planning, work, and money that goes into prom, how can one not get stressed? The 2016 Chartiers Valley class was also delayed a bit with raising money for prom because it did not even have a teacher sponsor to aid them and get there ideas for fund raising approved until their sophomore year. Losing a year of fundraising was detrimental for the 2016 class but since they are an outstanding class, they raised more than enough money to have one of the best proms in Chartiers Valley history. Another very stressful process for the females of Chartiers Valley is dress shopping, considering if you don’t find the perfect dress then your night could be ruined. Also all the planning for your makeup appointments, hair appointments, tanning, nails there is just too much to worry about. As well as finding a suitable party bus for your group when it is impossible to make everyone happy. But that is just one route a Chartiers Valley student attending prom could take. They could also do prom very simply and have the time of their life. Kenzi Sinclair says “With my group of 40 it is a bit overwhelming but I enjoy planning events and like the challenge of organizing everything for my group and for everyone to be satisfied.” In conclusion Prom can come with many responsibilities, stress, and is expensive but in the end it will be one of the best nights of your life and definitely one to remember.705
