LiAngelo Ball had 34 points to lead Chino Hills to a 102-54 CIF Open Division playoff defeat of then-No. 22 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) as the Huskies improved to 30-0 and strengthened their hold on the No. 1 spot in the in the Super 25 boys basketball rankings.

There are three new teams this week: No. 23 Apple Valley, Minn.; No. 24 Miller Grove (Lithonia, Ga.); and No. 25 Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, N.Y.).
Cameron Kirksey led Apple Valley (27-1) with 21 points in a 73-43 defeat of Rosemount in section 3-AAAA semifinal and Gary Trent Jr. had 30 points in a 106-77 defeat of Sibley (Mendota Heights) in a section 3-AAAA quarterfinal.
Alterique Gilbert had 21 points to lead Miller Grove (29-2) to a 72-52 defeat of McIntosh (Peachtree City) in state AAAAA semifinal. Gilbert had 16 points in a 66-41 defeat of South Paulding (Douglasville) in state AAAAA quarterfinal.
Shendehowa improved to 22-0 as Kevin Huerter had 26 points in a 55-38 defeat of Christian Brothers Academy (Albany) in a Section 2 Class AA semifinal.
