Top-ranked Chino Hills, Calif., held onto the No. 1 spot in the Super 25 boys basketball rankings, defeating then-No. 12 Bishop Montgomery (Torrance) 71-67 on Saturday.

The Huskies showed their depth, defeating the Knights even though UCLA-bound senior Lonzo Ball had his worst shooting game (2-for-12) of the season. LiAngelo Ball had 22 points for Chino Hills (22-0).

There are three new teams in the Super 25: No. 21 Memphis East (Memphis); No. 24 Mercer County (Harrodsburg, Ky.); and No. 25 Providence Day (Charlotte, N.C.).

Memphis East improved to 20-1 as T.J. Moss had 20 points in a 75-54 defeat of Hamilton (Memphis) and Chandler Lawson had 24 points in an 88-44 defeat of Overton (Memphis).

Mercer County is 23-0 as Dylan James had 26 points in an 85-44 defeat of East Jessamine (Nicholasville) and Malik Dow had 17 points in an 83-79 defeat of West Jessamine (Nicholasville).

Providence Day (23-3) rejoined the rankings with a big 96-70 defeat of Cannon (Concord) as Devon Dotson had 25 points. In another win, Isaac Johnson had 25 points and 11 rebounds in an 83-57 defeat of Charlotte Christian (Charlotte).
