Clarkston point guard Foster Loyer, son of former Detroit Pistons interim coach John Loyer, has verbally committed to Michigan State for the class of 2018.

Loyer, listed at 5-feet-10 and 155 pounds, is rated a three-star recruit by rivals.com.

He also reportedly had scholarship offers from Purdue, Oakland and DePaul.
