Chef of the Week

In sports the term “cookin” is reserved for a player who goes on a scoring spree or gets hot during a game and makes big plays on the offensive end.

This week’s “Chef of the Week” award winner is Southern Stampede (Ga.) point guard Collin Sexton for dropping, count ‘em, 44 points in Stampede’s win against the Georgia Stars at the fourth Nike EYBL session in Suwanee, Ga.

Sexton was already leading the EYBL in scoring and added to the legend of “Young Bull,” his nickname, in the win.

Check out the highlights below.

Poster of the Week

This week’s Poster of the Week winner is WE-R1 (Del.) point guard Trevon Duval for the poster he created last week at the Southern Jam Fest.

Duval, the No. 1 point guard in the ESPN 60, sized his man up at the top of the key, then blew right past him toward the lane, rose up and threw down a leaning one hander over a defender who apparently hasn’t seen Duval’s highlight vids.

Check out the poster below.

Oh No They Didn’t!

This award is reserved for the player who turned in a mind-boggling performance or play that left the crowd in a state of shock and amazement.

This week’s “Oh No They Didn’t” winner is Las Vegas sprinter Tre James for his epic comeback in the 4×100-meter relay at the Skyhawk Invitational in late April.

James was running the anchor leg and by the time he got the baton he was roughly 5-10 yards behind the leaders.

That’s when James kicked it into high gear and walked down the leader go get the win.

This you must see to believe.
