Chef of the Week
In sports the term “cookin” is reserved for a player who goes on a scoring spree or gets hot during a game and makes big plays on the offensive end.
This week’s “Chef of the Week” award winner is USA U17 point guard Collin Sexton for taking home MVP honors at the FIBA Men’s U17 World Championships. The American won their fourth consecutive U17 gold with a 96-56 win over Turkey Sunday.
World domination, true chef behavior indeed.
Poster of the Week
This week’s Poster of the Week winner is Howard D. Woodson (Washington, D.C.) wing Kiyon Boyd for the vicious poster he created during a recent summer league game.
Boyd started off by blowing past his man on the right wing then exploding up and over two defenders for the strong one-hander.

Oh No They Didn’t!
This award is reserved for the player who turned in a mind-boggling performance or play that left the crowd in a state of shock and amazement.
This week’s “Oh No They Didn’t” winner is Millbrook (Raleigh, N.C.) forward Patrick Dorsey for the unbelievable full-court heave he drained at the recent POWERADE State Games.
In the waning seconds of the first half, Dorsey took a rebound, whipped around and launched a baseball shot roughly 85 feet down the floor.
Unfortunately, the refs said Dorsey was slightly late in getting the miracle shot off.
The bright side for Dorsey is that he’s taking home the hardware today.
Check it out below.
