Each week, the Argus Leader gives a nod to the standout high school performances from around the state. The themes for this week’s American Family Insurance ALL-USA South Dakota Players of the Week? Double-doubles – a lot of them – as well as a few notable career scoring marks.

Jacob Hinker of Lennox eclipsed the 1,000-point career scoring mark after posting 24 in a win over West Central.
Bon Homme smashed Tripp-Delmont/Armour in large part to a 45-point outpouring from Chase Kortan.
Centerville teammates Rory O’Malley and Tyrell Martz paced the Tornadoes to a one-sided win over Freeman. Rory had 28 points, eight rebounds and five steals, while Martz finished with 24 points. O’Malley also posted 33 points in a win over Avon.
Chamberlain’s Dodge Knippling posted an absurd 30 points and 20 rebounds as the Cubs pulled past Cheyenne-Eagle Butte.
Cole Fiegen’s game-high 32 points powered the Blue Dragons of Garretson over Luverne (Minn.) in overtime.
Isaac Brandt scored 25 points to lead Brookings past Brandon Valley 64-45.
Sioux Falls Christian’s Keegan Van Egdom led the Chargers with 25 points in a win over Harrisburg. The Tigers got 22 points from Justis Clayton.
Tristan Teichmeier added to his growing list of double-doubles, leading Roosevelt past city rival Lincoln with 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Pierre’s Brevin Kaiser turned in a game-high 26 points as the Governors clipped ESD rival Mitchell.
With 24 points from Ty Hoglund, Dell Rapids made easy work of Garretson.
Yankton’s Tanner Frick scored a game-high 25 points in a losing effort to O’Gorman.
Bodee Groos had 20 points, six rebounds and three steals in a lopsided Colman-Egan win over Dell Rapids St. Mary.
Reed Harter scored 30 points to lead Colome past Jones County.
Irene-Wakonda’s Gabe King finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds in a 72-36 win over Scotland.
Parkston’s Jake DeLange scored 25 points to lead the Trojans past Andes Central/Dakota Christian.
Sophomore standout Shannon O’Malley powered Centerville to a win over Flandreau Indian with 34 points. Teammate Rebecca Hybertson scored 24 points. In the Tornadoes’ next game, a 60-56 win over Colome, O’Malley posted 32 points to eclipse 1,000 for her career.
A pair of McCook Central/Montrose standouts paced the Fighting Cougars in a lopsided win over Baltic. Rachael Laetsch knocked in seven 3-pointers to finish with 25 points, adding eight assists along the way. Morgan Koepsell, meanwhile, had 21 points, 10 rebounds and seven blocks.
Ali Kuca of Wagner scored a game-high 23 points in a win over Beresford.
Freeman’s Erika Sage posted 22 points in a win over Howard.
Lennox’s Riley Peters finished with 21 points as the Orioles upended Luverne (Minn.).
Viborg-Hurley’s Abby Hora posted 19 points and 12 rebounds in a two-point win over Freeman.
Myah Selland had 19 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for Sanborn Central/Woonsocket against Wolsey-Wessington.
Double-doubles from Sydney Arrington (20 points, 11 rebounds) and Anna Goodhope (13 points, 13 rebounds) powered Washington past Brookings.
Caitlin Hinseth scored 22 points, while Irene-Wakonda teammate Andrew Sokolowski added 18 points and 15 boards, in a win over Colman-Egan at the Heritage Classic in Sioux Falls.
Chester Area’s Jenna Reiff had 12 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Baltic.
Kalli Ortmann scored a game-high 23 points to lead Canistota past Dell Rapids St. Mary.
Canton’s Bailey Johnson led a trio of double-figure scorers, posting 18 points and 14 rebounds in a win over West Sioux City.
Tea Area’s Karlee McKinney finished with 26 points to lead the Titans past Sioux Falls Christian.
Brianna Kusler’s 23 points and 10 rebounds helped Aberdeen Central stay perfect on the season. The Golden Eagles defeated Brookings 50-36.
Genevieve Clark’s game-high 25 points pushed Gayville-Volin past Parker on the road.
Kassidy Walth turned in 20 points, six rebounds and five steals to lead Alcester-Hudson past Marion.
