Now this is a twinning experience.
DaVion and DaQuan Cross play for West Aurora (Ill.), and played key roles in a 27-21 victory against Huntley that got the team into the postseason in consecutive years for the first time since 1984.
DaQuan caught a 74-yard TD pass from senior quarterback Jacob Jankovsky in the first quarter.
DaVion ran for a 74-yard TD in the fourth quarter to clinch the victory.
“That’s my twin, so when he scores, I score,” DaQuan Cross told The Chicago Tribune. “We scored. That boy is something. He always comes through when we need him. He’s that guy.”
Along with his TD reception in the first quarter, DaQuan also opened the scoring with an 85-yard TD run shown here.
