DeSoto (Texas) linemates will be Under Armour All-America teammates

Edward Ingram and Xavier Newman have played together on the offensive line for DeSoto (Texas) as the Eagles have posted an unbeaten season, moved to No. 4 in the Super 25 rankings and are continuing in the Texas state playoffs.

Newman and Ingram will end their high school careers together beyond DeSoto when they play in the Under Armour All-American Game in Orlando on Jan. 1.

The two received their honorary jerseys Monday when the Selection Tour presented by American Family Insurance came to DeSoto.

Ingram is 6-4, 327 and ranked as the No. 8 guard by ESPN. He is an LSU commit.

Newman is 6-3, 272 and ranked as the No. 2 center by ESPN. He is a Colorado commit.
