Dylan Moses is a former LSU commitment. The versatile superstar athlete, a linebacker recruit who will spend his senior season at IMG Academy in Florida, committed to his home town team before backing off that pledge and insisting he would go through a full recruiting process.

Throughout that process, he’s insisted that LSU is still under consideration for his future services, and he has now offered a significant hint that his future may still lie in purple. On Monday afternoon, Moses issued the following, completely unprompted statement on Twitter:

Admittedly, rooting for LSU to win a national championship doesn’t necessarily mean that Moses is leaning toward committing to the Tigers. Still, considering the fact that LSU coach Les Miles first offered Moses a scholarship when he was in eighth grade, and since both he and his father are self-admitted LSU fanatics, it would stand to reason that LSU would have a pretty good shot at being where Moses winds up.

Or maybe this entire episode is much ado about nothing, and Moses could commit to Alabama, Texas or some other surprise powerhouse program. We’ll all just have to wait until December to find out.
