East Lee County relied on their strong rushing duo of Lothario Adderley and Cortavius Lee to outscore SFCA 44-21 in the season finale for both teams.
Adderley had four rushing touchdowns, and Lee had one touchdown pass to E.J. Cameron to account for all of the Jaguars offensive touchdowns. East Lee’s dynamic pair combined for 324 yards on the ground.
On the other side, the King’s racked up 200 yards passing, and Kobe Lee had touchdown passes to Brandon Lawrence and Will Wiggins. The difference was the Jaguars defense, which held the King’s to negative yards rushing.
Both teams scored defensive touchdowns. But East Lee’s came at a more decisive time. East had just scored two touchdowns early in the second quarter and then made it three in a row when Alex Surin returned a Lee pass 31 yards for a score, and a game that was 7-7 at the end of the first quarter, was now 27-7 with 9:55 left in the first half.
