Former Enka volleyball standout Taylor Sauer has excelled at every level, which is a trend she hopes to continue at Augusta University (Ga.).
Sauer has committed to the Georgia school after playing her past two years of college volleyball for Gulf Coast State College (Fla.).
Sauer set a Gulf Coast school record for career kills (623) last fall and averaged 3.27 kills per set as a sophomore with the most aces by any Florida junior-college player (55).
Sauer was the 2012 Citizen-Times All-WNC Player of the Year as a senior for the Sugar Jets and still holds the NCHSAA record for single-season kills (602). She originally signed out of high school with UNC Asheville, but had to redshirt her freshman year due to injury.
