Western North Carolina’s last undefeated girls team lost its first basketball game on Saturday.

Erwin was outscored 18-8 in the fourth quarter of a 47-38 loss at Rabun Gap (Ga.).

Meona Feather led the NCISAA Eagles (8-4) with 19 points. Charleston (W. Va.) recruit Kendra Griffin was the only player to reach double figures for the Warriors (14-1). She had 10 points, Dalton Gossett added seven and Treasure Bailey contributed six.
