Wide receiver KJ Hamler, who transferred from Orchard Lake St. Mary’s to IMG Academy in Florida for his senior season this fall, committed to Penn State on Friday. He also strongly considered Michigan State and Oregon, among others.
Hamler, 5 feet 9, 165 pounds, tore his anterior cruciate ligament while cutting in an August preseason game and missed his senior season. He is a four-star prospect according to the 247sports composite, and the No. 309 player — No. 44 at receiver — in the 2017 class.
