Fern Creek’s 10-under Babe Ruth softball team completed their season on Wednesday with a title.

After going unbeaten in pool play, Fern Creek knocked off the Bradford Allstars, Rochester Slammers, and Oviedo twice to win the 2016 Babe Ruth Softball 10-U World Series.

Fern Creek scored five runs in the fifth inning of their second game against Oviedo, an 8-2 victory, to seal the title.

Team members include Abbigail White, Kaitlyn Lynn Bradbury, Mikayla Milby, Grace Crawford, Abigail Bradshaw, Shelby Stivers, Kaydence Saylor, Kelli Adcock, Regan Moroe, Allyson Richardson, Olivia Perry, Kaden Dunlap and Emma Passanisi.
