The Fort Collins High School boys swimming team swept through its home quadrangular meet at Edora Pool Ice Center on Tuesday.
The Lambkins picked up dual wins over Horizon (206-82), Rocky Mountain (168-131) and Loveland (156-137), winning all three relays and four individual events.
Fort Collins’ Jack Holter was first in both the 200 free (1 minute, 51.24 seconds) and 100 free (51.14 seconds), while Alex Dragan claimed the 200 IM (2:00.57) and 100 back (54.76).
The two also swam on the winning 200 medley relay team (1:42.71) with Sam Roth and Armond Dai. Dai, Dragan and Holter then teamed up with Lucius Gao to claim the 200 free relay in 1:32.26.
Concluding the meet was the Lambkins’ 400 free relay of Gabe Martinez, Brendon Pease, Max Hunter and Gao, who won in 3:35.01.
Rocky Mountain went 1-2 as a team with a 224.50-74.50 win over Horizon and defeats by Loveland and Fort Collins.
Kyle Sherman won the 50 free for the Lobos in 23.11 seconds, as did Jack Miller in the 500 free (5:08.29).
FOSSIL RIDGE 113, GREELEY WEST 73 — Richard Dauksher and Craig Heimark each won two individual events for the SaberCats in their victory on the road.
Dauksher was first in both the 200 IM (2:03.80) and 100 back (57.63), while Heimark claimed the 50 free (22.41) and 100 fly (56.74).
Both swam on the 400 free relay team with Mason Fine and Jack Rhoda, who won in 3:23.78. Dauksher, Fine, Brennon Houchin and Kris Malinin won the 200 medley relay in 1:41.81.
Xander Johnson joined Heimark, Malinin and Rhoda on the winning 200 free relay with a time of 1:32.06.
MOUNTAIN VIEW 5, FORT COLLINS 4 — The Lambkins surrendered four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning in their loss on the road.
Ben Jenkins hit a home run, and Cody Faber had two doubles as Fort Collins fell to 1-1 on the season.
ROOSEVELT 8, POUDRE 1 — The Impalas were dealt their fourth consecutive loss in a non-league game at home.
No individual statistics were reported. Poudre falls to 1-5.
LIBERTY COMMON 2, FRONTIER ACADEMY 1 — Two second-half goals powered the Eagles to a road win in the Class 3A top-10 matchup.
Bri Simpson and Sam Tsiouvaris each put past one goal, and Olivia Bachelet was credited with an assist as Liberty Common, which is ranked No. 10 in the preseason CHSAAnow.com poll, upset No. 6 Frontier Academy.
The Eagles improve to 2-0 overall, 1-0 in Region 4 play.
GRANDVIEW 2, ROCKY MOUNTAIN 0 — The Lobos were shut out at home by the Wolves, who are ranked No. 1 in 5A, in a non-league match.
Rocky Mountain falls to 1-1 on the season.
CHEROKEE TRAIL 1, POUDRE (2OT) — The Impalas were edged in double overtime at French Field.
The game was also Poudre’s season opener, starting the season 0-1.
FOSSIL RIDGE 7, LOVELAND 0 — The SaberCats won every matchup in their victory at home. Shawnea Pagat (No. 1), Tara Teslow (No. 2) and Bailey Koronich (No. 3) swept the singles matches for Fossil Ridge.
Haley Kruse and Lydia Supe won at No. 1 doubles; Cambri Van Tassell and Kim Collamore claimed No. 2; Savannah Smith and Amita Pandley took No. 3; and Aubrey Leonard and Kelsey Morris won at No. 4.
ROCKY MOUNTAIN 4, MOUNTAIN RANGE 3 — All four of the Lobos’ doubles teams picked up wins in their victory on the road.
Caitlin Genschoreck and Lauren Schaffer claimed No. 1 doubles; Brooke Kennedy and Olinda Moro Lopez won at No. 2; Cassie Garza and Ali Roley were victorious at No. 3; and Ana Elliott and Sakiko Miwa took No. 4.
GREELEY WEST 6, FORT COLLINS 1 — Emily Hay-Arthur won 6-2, 6-4 at No. 3 singles for the Lambkins’ only point in their loss at home.
