After five seasons in charge of leading the cross-country program, Forrest Vaughan is leaving Fossil Ridge High School.
Vaughan, who has also worked with the track and field team, will be moving to the Denver area.
“It’s definitely bittersweet leaving,” Vaughan said, adding he’ll be moving closer to his family with the new job.
Vaughan, a math teacher, will be taking a position at Stargate Charter School in Thornton.
