Chef of the Week
In sports the term “cookin” is reserved for a player who goes on a scoring spree or gets hot during a game and makes big plays on the offensive end.
This week’s “Chef of the Week” award winner is Norman North (Norman, Okla.) point guard Trae Young for dropping, count ‘em, 60 points — including 12 threes — in a 102-70 victory against Yukon (Yukon, Okla.).
Young’s 60 was a career high and it was win No. 17 in a row for Norman.
Chef numbers all around.
Poster of the Week
This week’s Poster of the Week winner is Advanced Prep International (Dallas) wing Mark Vital for dropping the hammer on a defender in a recent game.
Vital, a Baylor signee, went coast-to-coast and rose up from near the free-throw line.
For a split second, the defender thought about trying to step in, but must’ve seen that Vital had won Poster of the Week honors in the past and backed off late.

Oh No They Didn’t!
This award is reserved for the player who turned in a mind-boggling performance or play that left the crowd in a state of shock and amazement.
This week’s “Oh No They Didn’t” winner is guard Cassius Stanley for completing a between-the-legs reverse dunk during a recent game.
That’s right, Stanley went all 2016 NBA Slam Dunk Contest in a game.
The best part?
He’s only a freshman.
Let that marinate; now watch the video below.
