Girls basketball

Ann Arbor Pioneer 58, Monroe 54 (OT): Laura Stroud scored 21 points for Pioneer (9-9, 4-5 SEC Red).

Allen Park 56, Taylor Truman 20: Erin Fish had 18 points, Aly Kubik finished with 12 rebounds, seven assists and seven steals while Izzy Slate recorded 11 points for Allen Park (16-2, 13-1 Downriver).

Bloomfield Hills 56, Royal Oak 33: Victory Franklin scored 15 points for Bloomfield (13-5), Kathryn Prina added 11 points. June Donaldson scored eight points for Royal Oak (8-10).

Canton 29, Plymouth 26: Brianna Finn scored seven points for Canton (15-3). Cassidy Lewis led with seven points for Plymouth (7-11).

Detroit Community 44, Hamtramck 34: Sandra McGinnis led with 16 points and six rebounds for Community while Passion Hargrove added 12 points.

Garden City 64, Taylor 27: Lindsey Michalak led with 19 points for Garden City (6-13).

Grosse Pointe North 55, Grosse Pointe South 44: Julia Ayrault had 16 points, Erin Armbruster had 14 points and Katie Snow finished with 12 points for North (13-5, 6-5 MAC Red). Also, Margaret Brennan had 11 points and Anna Carmody had 10 points for South (7-12, 5-6).

Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett 45, Birmingham Roeper 43: Nia Ahart had 24 points and 10 boards and eight steals while Kendall McConico finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds plus seven assists for Liggett (13-4, 10-1 MIAC Blue). Additionally, Akwia Tilton had 14 points and Haley Samples had 12 points for Roeper.

Imlay City 53, Armada 39:  Abby Schefka checked in with a solid performance by scoring nine points and grabbing 10 rebounds for Imlay City (12-6, 10-2 BWAC). Additionally, Cameron Katkic had a steady outing by scoring six points and grabbing seven boards.

Livonia Stevenson 43, Walled Lake Central 25: Kaitlyn Wolschlager led with a game-high 12 points for Central (0-17) in the loss. Stevenson is now 9-9.

Macomb Dakota 33, Romeo 31 (OT): Tara Bieniewicz had 12 points and Emily Langolf finished with 11 points for Dakota (13-6, 6-5 MAC Red). In defeat, Amber Flinn had 10 points for Romeo (10-9, 4-7).

Novi 53, Walled Lake Western 46: Allie Lipson had 15 points and nine rebounds while Ellie Mackay recorded 26 points for Novi.

Ortonville Brandon 50, Flint Kearsley 38: Brooke Becker scored 21 points for Brandon (9-8, 5-7 Flint Metro). Jordan Brady added 11 points.

Rockford 40, Grand Haven 33: Rockford was led by Maddy Watters, who finished with 10 points. Alexia Bouwhuis finished with 10 points for Grand Haven.

Sterling Heights 47, Clinton Twp. Chippewa Valley 28: Kendall Ring put up a triple-double for Sterling Heights (12-7, 7-4 MAC White) with 13 points, 15 rebounds and 16 blocks. Maria Nelson added 10 points and four blocks. Chippewa Valley is now 4-14 on the season.

Stevensville Lakeshore 69, Benton Harbor 54: Taylor Wagner had 26 points for Lakeshore (15-2). Also, Kysrie Gondrezick had 28 points and seven rebounds in defeat for Benton Harbor (8-9).

Trenton 55, Lincoln Park 16: Kaylee Crowell scored 15 points and Kelsey Dionne and Therese Hebda each scored 11 points for Trenton.

Walled Lake Northern 51, Livonia Churchill 44: Courtney Callahan had 17 points and Samantha Cannon had 12 points in the victory for Northern (7-11, 5-6 KLAA). Anne Yost had 20 points for Churchill.

Westland Glenn 51, Grand Blanc 31: Taylor Robinson scored 11 points for Glenn (9-9, 4-7 KLAA), Cierra Mosely added 11 points of her own. Maija Gillum scored nine points for Grand Blanc (3-14, 0-11 KLAA).

Boys basketball

Allen Park Inter-city Baptist 60, Plymouth Christian 24: Garrett Kraatz had 27 points for Inter-City Baptist (11-6, 6-5 MIAC Blue) while Nathaniel Pardo had 13 points for Plymouth Christian (7-9, 3-8).

Armada 53, Imlay City 51: Adam Job had 15 points, Mitch Ruczynski had 13 points and Dylan Szafranski finished with 12 points for Armada (11-6, 6-5 BWAC).  Steve Reiff had 20 points and Hunter Galbraith had 12 points for Imlay City (14-3, 9-2 BWAC).

Birmingham Groves 63, Farmington Hills Harrison 45: Langston Rudds had 22 points and Drew Sheckell had 12 points for Groves (11-5, 6-2 OAA Gold).

Bloomfield Hills 49, Auburn Hills Avondale 44: Jake Hecker had 12 points and Josh Jones finished with nine for Bloomfield Hills (10-6, 6-2 OAA White). Also, Jalen Latham finished with 15 points and Ty Bland recorded 11 points for Avondale (7-11, 1-7 OAA White).

Clinton Twp. Clintondale 77, Madison Heights Lamphere 42: Isiaah Hasan had 17 points, Jordan Jackson had 16 points and Ryan Petty had 13 points for Clintondale (8-9, 5-7 MAC Silver). For Lamphere, Matt Bowman had 14 points.

Dearborn Heights Annapolis 83, Dearborn Edsel Ford 56: Jawuan Banks led with 23 points for Annapolis (8-9) while Alex Ismael added 19 points and nine rebounds. Jon McMath scored 16 points and eight rebounds. Chad Gailliad scored 26 points for Ford (6-11).

Deckerville 41, Peck 36: Austin Fritch finished with 12 points in the victory while Peck’s Dylan Dankenbring and Cole Hendley each had nine.

Detroit Allen Academy 76, Detroit Henry Ford Academy 53: Mark Watts scored 22 points for Allen Academy (16-2) while Jason Williams added 17 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Drequan Bell scored 15 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out six assists. Trayvion Williams scored 20 points for Henry Ford Academy (5-9).

Detroit Community 55, Hamtramck 35: Jamerio Jackson scored 17 points for Community (12-5) while Mark Anthony-Davis contributed 11 points. Dquan Quinddle scored 11 points for Hamtramck.

Detroit Consortium 74, Detroit Jalen Rose Leadership Academy 45: Travez Nyx had 21 points, C.J. Figueroa had 16 points, Jalen Sykes had 14 points and Luster Johnson finished with 14 points for Consortium (10-8).

Detroit Delta Prep 61, Detroit Ecorse 51: Dwight Burton finished with 29 points in the win for Delta Prep (14-4).

Detroit University Prep 50, Harper Woods Chandler Park 44: Derrick Bryant Jr. scored 12 points and five assist for Prep (16-2) in the Charter League championship game while Terrance Bowens added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Jalen Martin scored 13 points for Chandler Park (14-4).

Kenowa Hills 52, Mona Shores 49: Mona Shores’ Kobe Burse scored 16 points. Tyler Trovinger added 14 points.

Macomb Dakota 80, Romeo 45: Jermaine Jackson Jr. scored a school-record 41 points to go with seven steals for Dakota (18-0, 11-0 MAC Red). Romeo is now 4-13.

Madison Heights Madison 52, St. Clair Shores Lakeview 50: J’Quan Jones had 21 points and Mike Floyd had 12 points for Madison. Skailar Hase finished with 11 points for Lakeview.

North Farmington 74, Troy Athens 24: Billy Thomas led with 24 points for Farmington (15-2), Amauri Hardy added 14 points. Athens falls to 1-16.

Pontiac 53, Oak Park 45: James Williams scored 17 points and Israel Williams did as well in the win for Pontiac (14-3, 6-2 OAA White). Additionally, Jalen Kelso scored 12 points, dished out seven assists and recorded seven steals for Pontiac.

Rochester 57, Birmingham Seaholm 41: Seaholm’s Leigh Murray finished with 13 points in defeat. Hunter Schattler scored 16 points and Ivan Barazza recorded 12 points for Rochester (8-9, 5-3 OAA Blue).

Rochester Adams 59, Southfield-Lathrup 45: Spencer Littleson had a huge game with 34 points for Adams (12-4) while Michael Girdler added 11 points. Lathrup drops to 4-12.

Rochester Hills Stoney Creek 82, Oxford 49: Ray Luvine scored 15 points and Jordan Jadan finished with 10 for Stoney Creek.

Southfield Bradford Academy 63, Warren Michigan Collegiate 56: Lavelle Williams led with 17 points for Bradford (12-5) while Tamarion Johnson contributed 10 points and 18 rebounds. Justin Parker scored 12 points for Collegiate (10-7).

Taylor Kennedy 48, Southgate Anderson 44: Maceo Anderson scored 15 points for Kennedy (14-4) while Leonard Pasley added 12 points. James Bowman scored 19 points for Anderson (5-10).

Taylor Prep 73, Taylor Trillium 62: Nigel Colvin had 20 points, Billy Dudley finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds while Khalid Fleming had 16 points and 11 assists for Prep (6-9).

Taylor Truman 46, Allen Park 43 (OT): Tobi Dasaliva led with 14 points for Truman (5-12). Jared Jackson scored 17 points for Allen Park (5-12).

West Bloomfield 53, Troy 44: Tre Harvey, Kevin McAdoo and Tyler Davis each scored 12 points for West Bloomfield. Trishton Jackson added 10 points.

Woodhaven 59, Melvindale 55: Weshaun Warren had 14 points, Roger Scott scored 13 points and Niko Richard finished with 13 points for Woodhaven (13-5, 12-2 Downriver). Kobe Boynton had 25 points for Melvindale.
