Forget a helicopter. New Georgia head football coach Kirby Smart’s best recruiting prop on Thursday was a living, breathing bulldog puppy.

As captured online on a since expired Periscope video posted by McEachern senior wide receiver Tyler Simmons, Smart showed up for an in-home visit with Simmons armed with the ultimate cuteness prop: A live puppy that was a spitting youthful image of Georgia’s Uga mascot.

Woof.

Despite being a Georgia native, Simmons has committed to Alabama. However, that was before he had received an in-home visit from Smart. In fact, Smart’s defense at Alabama and the role in played in helping the Tide to another national title probably contributed to Simmons’ pledge to Alabama. Now he’s trying to undo all his prior good work, one bark at a time.
