Senior Bailee Gilmore fired an even-par 72 as the Bedford North Lawrence girls golf team cruised to a win at the BNL Invitational Friday at Otis Park Golf Course.

The Stars posted a final score of 349, and Bloomington North was a distant second at 385. The second-best individual score was an 83 by North Harrison junior Hallie Hinton, who paced the Cougars (403) to a third-place finish. Bloomington South (414) followed in fourth, with Brownstown (421) and Seymour (423) rounding out the group.

The Stars finished their first week 3-for-3 after a win over Gibson Southern and at the Seymour Invitational on Wednesday. Gilmore earned medalist honors at Seymour with a 76 and led BNL against Gibson Southern with a 2-under 35 on the front nine at Otis Park.
