Each night during the Section 1 girls basketball tournament, I’ll update scores, write game recaps and post the upcoming schedule for the next round’s games. If you have anything to add, feel free to contact me on Twitter @Zacchio_LoHud, or email me at email@example.com.
I covered the Section 1 Class A first round game between No. 8 Harrison and No. 9 Eastchester on Friday. My colleague, Nancy Haggerty, covered the No. 6 Brewster-No. 11 Pelham contest.
My game story highlights Eastchester’s overwhelming turnout, head coach Lindsay Carr’s first postseason win and the late scare down the stretch. Nancy’s game story highlight’s Brewster’s suffocating second-half defense.
