For the second time this season, Lew Gunn was perfect into the tenth frame. While he had to settle for a 299 the first time, this week he was able to finish the job. His 300 game in the Friday Night Wanna Bees at Blue Water Bowl was the 15th on record for him in the Port Huron Bowling Association and at least 17th overall.

Alicia Schroeder was the standout for the women, getting a 710 series in the Friday Nite Misfits and a 701 in Cowboys & Indians, both at Port Huron Lanes. Brandy Carl had high game with a 278 in Masters League at Port Huron Lanes. She was a remarkable 140 pins over average in that game and ended with a 618 series.

Two other bowlers were throwing a lot of strikes in the Friday Morning Industrial League at Port Huron Lanes as Gary Marinez had a 299 and Rick Sosa 298. Kris Brunelle rolled a 288 to lead the rest of the men, followed by Josh Halliday 277 and Jeff Morrison 276.

Shawna Lentner had a 686 series in Cowboys & Indians to top the other women. Terry Crampton was next at 673 in Blue Water Mens at St. Clair River Lanes. They were followed by Jaclyn Meldrum 646, Joddy Swoffer 642 & 639, Ann Nichols 634, Karyn Mazei 626, Melissa Legault 624, Kim Symon 619, Alicia Schroeder 617, Olivia Brown 614, Annette Paradis 610 & 606, Crystal Cramer 607, Catherine Pulliam 606, and Kim Hone 604.

Joddy Swoffer had second highest game with a 265 in the Wednesday Night Ladies league at Port Huron Lanes and also added a 244 game in Friday Nite Misfits. Others were Alicia Schroeder 248 & 245, Terry Crampton 248, Sharon Pappas 247, Jaclyn Meldrum 245, and Jamie Ferrier 235. Ferrier was 106 pins over average in that game and ended the series 157 pins over average.

Rounding out the women high games were Shawna Lentner 234, DJ Gombos 233, Rachel Posey 231, Karyn Mazei 230, Ann Nichols 227, Kim Symon 227, Rosann Brachel 226, Brenda Bruehan 224, and Terry Crampton 222.

Jeff Morrison rolled the best series of the week with a 776 in Friday Nite Misfits. Mike Polio had 754 in Blue Water Mens at St Clair. The next three came from Blue Water Bowl with Brad Ashton at 740, Henry Sullivan 734, and Jose Ganhs 731 & 720. They were followed by Jeff Geirman 729, Brian Doan 728, Paul Fleming 727, and Bob Pihaylic 725.
