BUFFALO GAP – Emma Harrison had a natural hat trick, scoring three goals in the second half to lift Wilson Memorial’s girls soccer team to a 4-1 victory Friday over Buffalo Gap.

The game was tied 1-1 at the half, with Bailey Cullen scoring the Green Hornets’ goal and Sage Massie getting the Bison goal. After that, it was all Harrison, scoring her first goal off an assist from Kara Kirby, then getting the last two unassisted.

Jade Coffey got the win in goal for Wilson, making seven saves. The Hornets finished with 16 shots-on-goal.

In JV action, Carrie Garvey scored the lone goal of the game as the Hornets topped the Bison, 1-0.

Wilson hosts Luray in its next game Tuesday, while Gap is at Riverheads.
