Henryville softball senior pitcher Peyton Ottersbach has verbally committed to Indiana State, per her Twitter account.

Ottersbach guided the Hornets to a 28-3 record and a semi-state appearance last season, going 16-1 in the circle with a 1.41 ERA and five shutouts. She also had 38 hits, 37 RBI and a team-high six home runs en route to garnering all-area and all-state honors.

Indiana State went 27-31 last season — 13-13 in conference play — but won the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.
