Tavon Granison went 15-for-19 with 217 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns in a Monroe County football game Saturday. He helped Greece Athena tally 537 yards of total offense in its 41-14 win over Spencerport.

Thaj Avies rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns while Kenny Speed picked up 134 yards receiving and a touchdown for Athena (6-0).

Defensively, Johnny Johnson led the team with 17 tackles.

The Wilson Wildcats picked up their fourth victory in five games after a 25-yard touchdown pass from James Cotton to Rickey Gamble with 4:32 remaining at Rhinos Stadium.

East (2-3) attempted a 35-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter that was blocked by the Wildcats (4-2).

Tykel Banks made 10 tackles, blocked a punt and had a sack for Wilson. Desi Floyd (two) and Duvar Douglas also produced sacks for the Wilson defense.

The winner of Wilson’s matchup against McQuaid Friday night will capture the Rochester City Athletic Conference title.
