Evangelical Christian 7, Marco Island 0: Six Sentinels (4-1) hit the scoresheet with Makenzy Dupree leading the charge with two goals. Claire Valentine and Madisyn Dupree each had a goal and an assist for Evangelical Christian.
Estero 3, North Fort Myers 3: Claudia Lopez scored two goals to lead the Wildcats (1-0-2). Emilee Hauser scored twice for the Red Knights (2-0-1) and Taylor Kruse also scored for North Fort Myers.
Evangelical Christian 4, Marco Island 0: Natha Campos scored two goals to lead Evangelical Christian over the Manta Rays Tuesday night. Walker White and Justin Mortenson also scored for the Sentinels (2-0), and Justin McDaniel had a clean sheet making two saves.
Mariner 2, Ida Baker 0: Joey Lane and Steven Langdale scored goals as the Tritons (1-0) triumphed in their season opener. Caleb Cook made three saves in goal to preserve the shutout for Mariner.
Dunbar 6, Lehigh 1: C. Jay Gayle and Christian Barahona each recorded a goal and an assist to lead the Tigers (1-0) to a season opening victory. Sebastain Domingo set up two goals for Dunbar.
Cypress Lake 5, Fort Myers 2: Franklin Hernandez tallied a hat trick and an assist to lead the Panthers (1-0) to a season opening victory. Gregory Odili had two goals and an assist and Kevin Hernandez set up another for Cypress Lake.
Bishop Verot 4, Gateway Charter 0: Four players hit the scoresheet for the Vikings (1-0) in their season opening victory. Billy Griffin, Kevin Reynolds, Will Saccone and Dominic Miller all scored goals, and Brian Voorhees recorded a shutout in net.
LaBelle 40, Riverdale 29: In preseason action, freshman Chloe Horton poured in 17 points to lead the Cowgirls past the Raiders. Fellow freshman Taylor Sanchez added eight points and senior Amber Barnett had ten points and 12 rebounds for LaBelle.
SFCA 33, Ida Baker 20: Rebekah Bergquist had 20 points, nine rebounds, eight steals and four assists for the Kings.
