Here are Central Indiana’s top five performers from Week 3:
Reese Taylor, Ben Davis
The Giants playcaller made use of his arm and his feet in Ben Davis’ 48-14 win over Pike. He threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns and had 10 carries for 33 yards and three scores. The junior has nine rushing touchdowns in Ben Davis’ first three games.
Chase Andries, Beech Grove
The senior quarterback threw for 225 yards and five touchdowns in the Hornets’ 68-42 win against Speedway. He also added a rushing touchdown. He is averaging 214 passing yards per game and has thrown 11 touchdown passes. Beech Grove is off to a 3-0 start.
Brandon Rosado, Greenwood
The Greenwood junior had 21 carries for 204 yards and four touchdowns. He had scoring runs of 29, 69, 3 and 59 yards. He also had one reception for 34 yards. Greenwood defeated Martinsville 41-10 and moved to 3-0 on the season. Rosado has nine rushing touchdowns this year.
Carter McGinnis, Guerin Catholic
McGinnis had 181 yards and four touchdowns on 13 carries, averaging 13.9 yards per rush. He also tallied a 34-yard receiving touchdown and racked up 215 all-purpose yards. McGinnis has 10 rushing touchdowns on the season. The Golden Eagles blanked Heritage Christian 49-0 and are 2-1 this year.
Bryce Kirtz, Brownsburg
The Bulldogs sophomore hauled in seven passes for 191 yards and three scores in Brownsburg’s 46-30 win over Franklin.
