Jack Camper, a tight end from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., has verbally committed to Michigan State, according to his Twitter account.
The 6-foot-6, 230-pounder reportedly had scholarship offers from Nebraska, Louisville and Kentucky, as well. He is the second verbally committed player for MSU’s 2017 class, joining Walled Lake Western receiver Cody White,who committed last week.
MSU coach Mark Dantonio tweeted today: “Congrats on Ascending from the Sunshine State to the Spartans. Will set up Camp permanently in EL next Jan. 2017. #V4MSU!”
IMG Academy is the school at which Michigan held its controversial spring-break practices a few weeks ago.
