IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) knocked off one Booker T. Washington to help itself pass another Booker T. Washington for the No. 2 spot in the Super 25 high school football rankings.

The Ascenders (3-0) were led by quarterback Kellen Mond, who threw for three touchdown passes and ran for a touchdown Saturday to defeat Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, Okla.) in Shreveport, La. That win, coupled with a loss by previous No. 2 Booker T. Washington (Miami) to unranked Jackson (Miami), allowed IMG to move up from No. 3.
Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) helped solidify its spot at No. 1 as quarterback Tate Martell threw for 178 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 111 yards and a touchdown Friday in a 35-20 defeat of then-No. 7 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) in Long Beach. The top-ranked Gaels (3-0) have beaten two Super 25 teams and play host to another on Friday when No. 17 Kahuku, Hawaii, visits.
There are two new teams in the Super 25, led by No. 8 Roswell, Ga., which is 3-0 after the Hornets crushed Colquitt County (Moultrie, Ga.) 34-3 on Friday as quarterback Malik Willis threw for two touchdowns and ran for one.
The other new team is No. 11 Mountain Pointe (Phoenix), which defeated Chandler 52-7 Thursday to improve to 3-0 as Isaiah Pola-Mao had an interception and two touchdown catches for the Pride.
Two teams dropped out with losses to unranked teams: No. 2 Booker T. Washington and then-No. 15 Union (Tulsa, Okla.), which lost 35-28 to rival Jenks on Friday.
