Chef of the Week

In sports the term “cookin” is reserved for a player who goes on a scoring spree or gets hot during a game and makes big plays on the offensive end.

This week’s “Chef of the Week” award winners are Spartanburg Day School (Spartanburg, S.C.) wing Zion Williamson and South Kent School (South Kent, Conn.) point guard Tremont Waters after both players turned in dominant performances at the NBPA Top 100 Camp this past weekend.

It was the first time in the prestigious camp’s history that Co-MVPs were named.

Poster of the Week

This week’s Poster of the Week winner is Foothills Christian (San Diego, Calif.) point guard Jaylen Hands for the vicious poster he created overseas at the adidas Eurocamp in Italy.

Hands took the pass from a teammate on the break, took a dribble and rose for the one-hander over a defender who came flying in late from the help side.

Check out the dunk below and you’ll see why said defender should’ve just let the dunk happen.

Oh No They Didn’t!

This award is reserved for the player who turned in a mind-boggling performance or play that left the crowd in a state of shock and amazement.

This week’s “Oh No They Didn’t” winner is Harvard Westlake (North Hollywood, Calif.) guard Cassius Stanley for jumping so high on a dunk at the Pangos All-American Camp that he literally looked inside the rim.

Yes, really.

During warmups, Stanley, just a rising sophomore, threw a lob to himself, darted toward the rim, ascended up and seemed to take a peek inside the rim before throwing down the strong one-hander.

This you must see.
