He is a 6-foot, 170-pound three-star cornerback prospect with offers from Colorado, Washington State, Vanderbilt and Hawaii.
He has been part of a defense that has shut down its in-state opposition all season. In its four games since a loss at No. 1 Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), Kahuku has allowed only one score in a 56-6 victory against Kaiser and outscored the opposition by a total of 199-6.
Kaniho is the eighth Super 25 Top Star of the season. Weekly voting did not begin until all states were in action. The weekly winners will be part of voting for Super 25 Top Star of the Season after state championships are decided nationwide.
