Kentucky is sporting the consensus top basketball recruiting class in 2016. With four five-star recruits all taking part in the McDonald’s All American Game Wednesday, the quartet had ample opportunity to get together and discuss their future. Given those parameters, it didn’t take long for the future Wildcats to endear themselves to the Big Blue fan base, thanks to one simple photo.

That’s the four future Kentucky stars — De’Aaron Fox, Sacha Killeya-Jones, Edrice “Bam” Adebayo, and Malik Monk — all holding up “L’s Down” hand signs as an insult to Louisville. The photo was posted by Killeya-Jones hours before the 2016 McDonald’s All American Game, and quickly earned plenty of attention on social media.

Louisville’s recruiting class features just one McDonald’s star, V.J. King, who was notably absent when Fox, Killeya-Jones and Co. got together for their pregame photo op. He will be in attendance on New Year’s Eve, the date currently scheduled for the annual intrastate duel between the Wildcats and Cardinals.

Until then, the Kentucky crew might just keep throwing down some L’s, in the hope of inflicting L’s on plenty of Kentucky’s future foes.
