Chef of the Week

In sports the term “cookin” is reserved for a player who goes on a scoring spree or gets hot during a game and makes big plays on the offensive end.

This week’s “Chef of the Week” award winner is Cypress Lake (Katy, Texas) point guard De’Aaron Fox for dropping, count ‘em, 50 points in a recent win.

Halfway to 100?

Oh that’s true chef behavior indeed.

Poster of the Week

This week’s Poster of the Week winner is Advanced Prep International (Dallas) wing Mark Vital for the unreal dunk he managed in a recent win over Oldsmar Christian (Oldsmar, Fla.).

Vital, a Baylor signee, leaped over the top of an Oldsmar player’s back, caught the ball mid-air and nearly tore the rim off its hinges on the dunk.

The best part?

The audience’s reaction.

Spectators were tackling each other onto the court and running up and down the sidelines in excitement.

Yes, it was that good.

Oh No They Didn’t!

This award is reserved for the player who turned in a mind-boggling performance or play that left the crowd in a state of shock and amazement.

This week’s “Oh No They Didn’t” winner is Lima Senior (Lima, Ohio) point guard Xavier Simpson for his clutch buzzer beater to knockoff Lima Central Catholic (Lima, Ohio) recently.

Simpson, a Michigan signee, drained a step-back 15-footer under heavy duress as time expired.

The best part? The crowd’s reaction was epic.

Check it out below.
