KIMBERLY, Wis.  – The Kimberly Papermakers ran the nation’s longest active winning streak to 52 games with a 78-0 victory over Milwaukee Vincent/Destiny in a WIAA Division 1 football playoff opener Friday.

Kimberly scored 72 points in the first half.

Kimberly held Vincent/Destiny to 43 total yards, intercepted four passes and recovered a fumble.

The Papermakers (10-0 overall) got three touchdown runs from D.J. Stewart, all in the first half.

Carter Eckes had three carries for 92 yards, including a 65-yard touchdown run in the third quarter for Kimberly’s final score.

Kyle Simonis returned a fumble 10 yards for a touchdown and the Kimberly defense also had two tackles in the end zone for safeties.
