STAUNTON – Robert E. Lee’s softball team snapped a three-game losing streak Thursday with a 6-3 win over Covington in nonconference action at Montgomery Hall Park.
The Lee Ladies (3-9) were led by Whitney Darby, who got the win in the circle and had an RBI. In the first inning, Kodie Oscar-Taylor and Destiny Courtney both had RBI triples, while Micaelah Hodge had an RBI single and Darby got her RBI on a groundout.
Hodge added an RBI single in the fourth.
The Lee Ladies are back in action Monday at home against Wilson Memorial.
