Welcome to Week 7 of the Indiana high school football season! The postseason is fast approaching, and teams are gearing up to make what they hope will be long runs into the fall.
Tonight, we have a full slate of compelling action for you, highlighted by the MIC Network Game of the Week, presented by Honda Dealers of Central Indiana, Lawrence North vs. Warren Central. Sophomore standout David Bell and the Class 6A No. 1 Warriors (5-1) are looking to make it five straight wins this season and 13 in a row against the Wildcats (3-3). Can Lawrence North pull off the upset? Preps Insider Kyle Neddenriep says they will keep it close, but in the end, the Warriors will extend their impressive streaks. New Palestine 70, Shelbyville 20: In the battle of undefeated Hoosier Heritage Conference rivals, the Class 5A No. 2 Dragons left no doubt as to which was the better team.
Carmel 40, Ben Davis 36: Down 24-7 in the third quarter, the Class 6A No. 12 Greyhounds rallied back to stun the No. 7 Giants.
Guerin Catholic 13, Brebeuf 10: Kicker Caleb Quick drilled a 54-yard field goal with 11 seconds left to send the Golden Eagles home with a victory.
