Kayla Gusikoff had 22 assists, Sam McKenna had five kills and nine aces and Hailee Peeze had 10 kills as host Millbrook High School’s volleyball team defeated Rhinebeck 25-20, 25-12, 25-13 on Tuesday.
Cecilia Dignan had 12 digs for Millbrook.
Pine Plains 3, John A. Coleman Catholic 0 – Ashley Starzyk had eight kills and Johanna Schmidt added 12 assists as the host Bombers (1-2) prevailed, 25-18, 25-19, 25-19.
Marlboro 3, Highland 0 – Emily Beck had seven kills and 13 aces, and Jewel Schroder had five kills as the host Iron Dukes (2-2) swept the Huskies, 25-16, 25-23, 25-4.
Jonna Watkins had four aces and three digs for Highland (1-5). Taylor Farino had two blocks and an ace.
Webutuck 3, Onteora 0 – Victoria Gilleo had three kills, seven aces and two assists as the Warriors swept the Indians, 25-8, 25-12, 25-15.
Other contributors for Webutuck (2-1) were Aliyah Caldas (three kills, four aces, one block) and Faith Ackerman (two kills, five aces).
Spackenkill 3, Dover 0 – Nini Sher had seven kills, two assists and three aces to lead visiting Spackenkill in a 25-4, 25-13, 25-16 win. Shannon Forman added eight assists and an ace. Dover’s Sammi Beebe had four digs, an assist and a kill, and Calise Henry had three kills and a dig.
Pawling 3, Valhalla 0 – Clara Lombardo had four aces and 20 assists to lead visiting Pawling in a 25-22, 25-19, 25-11 win. Jaclyn Smith added 14 kills, 13 digs and four aces, and Shannon Ward had 12 digs for the Tigers (3-0).
Red Hook 3, New Paltz 0 – Morgan Corless had 12 assists, six aces, four digs and three kills to lead host Red Hook in a 25-12, 25-20, 29-27 win. Cassidy Stride added eight aces and three kills. New Paltz’s Kelly Brinkman had five kills, four digs, two aces and a block, and Lexi Klinger had nine assists and two blocks.
Monroe-Woodbury 3, John Jay 0 – Skylar Kellam had two aces and seven digs as the visiting Patriots were swept, 25-17, 25-23, 25-22. Nicole Nardone added three blocks for John Jay (1-3).
Saugerties 3, Poughkeepsie 0 – The visiting Pioneers fell 25-6, 25-3, 25-5.
Erin Robin had two goals, and Audrey Trainor had a goal and two assists as host Arlington shut out Suffern in its season opener, 3-0.
Sophia Fister made 13 saves for Arlington.
John Jay 1, Clarkstown North 0 – Alyssa DeMichael scored as the host Patriots (2-0-1) picked up a shutout win.
Clarkstown South 7, Roy C. Ketcham 0 – Kristen DeSousa made 12 saves, but the host Indians fell.
Emma Messenger defeated Bailey Styles, 6-0, 6-0, at first singles to lead visiting Marlboro in a 4-1 win over Red Hook.
Grace Messenger won, 6-0, 6-0, at second singles. Julie Truncali and Kaiya Wigton topped Dasha Latvis and Alice Finta, 6-1, 2-6, 6-2, in first doubles for Marlboro (1-1).
Highland 4, Ellenville 1 – Emma DiLascio beat Reham Perry, 6-2, 6-1, at first singles for visiting Highland. Rachel Bender topped Cristina Torres, 6-3, 6-1, in second singles for the Huskies (1-5).
John F. Kennedy Catholic 4, Our Lady of Lourdes 3 – Grace O’Connor won, 8-3, at first singles for Lourdes, though the Warriors lost on the road. Jen Scully and Sarah Sayegh won, 8-5, at first doubles for Lourdes (1-1).
Arlington 5, Carmel 2 – Ali Bologna and Helena Lent defeated Emily Alps and Paula Matos, 6-0, 6-0, at fourth doubles for the host Admirals in a win late Monday.
Dobbs Ferry 4, Pawling 1 – Martha Topolnitski won in straight sets at first singles for the visiting Tigers in a loss late Monday.
