Spackenkill’s Erik Stauderman had a career day, shooting his best nine-hole round, a 5-under-par 31 as the Spackenkill High School boys golf team defeated Dover 162-229 at McCann Memorial Golf Course.
Stauderman had five birdies. Ryan Ackert had a 40 for Spackenkill. John Timm had a 45.
Ryan Leverich shot a 51 for Dover.
Roosevelt def. Poughkeepsie — Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Jeffrey Peters had an eagle, a birdie and five pars for a 1-under-par 33 at Dinsmore Golf Club in Staatsburg as the Presidents had 155 strokes against an incomplete Poughkeepsie team.
Zack Plambeck (39), Jake Rand (39) and David Remsburger (44) also contributed for Roosevelt. Cullen O’Shea (47) led Poughkeepsie.
New Paltz 165, Marlboro 180 — Nick Puleo and Jaxson Koebel-Secky each carded a 4-over-par 40 at New Paltz Golf Course to lead the host Huguenots over the Iron Dukes.
Mike Gottstine shot a 41 and Corey Burke had a 44 for the Huguenots (2-2). Marlboro’s Justin Boehkle shot a 43 and Charles Benfer a 44.
Jessica D’Auria had 23 kills and eight digs, and Vanessa Jacobs had 11 digs and two aces to lead Our Lady of Lourdes in a 27-25, 25-15, 25-20 win over Albertus Magnus. Anna Kolosky added four blocks and eight kills, and Ceara Giametta had 43 assists for the Warriors (1-0).
Roy C. Ketcham 3, Croton-Harmon 0 — Naraya Price had six kills, Breanna Rizzo picked up 11 digs and Alexis Sabatelle dished out 10 assists in the Indians’ 25-13, 25-19, 25-5 home win.
Pawling 3, Dobbs Ferry 0 — Jaclyn Smith had 15 kills and Clara Lombardo had seven aces and 20 assists to lead the visiting Tigers.
Wallkill 3, Roosevelt 2 — Megan Kelly had nine aces, four digs and a kill for the Presidents late Tuesday. Gianna Felipe added seven assists and three aces, and Lourdes Dawson had eight kills and three aces for Roosevelt (1-1).
Liz Schwoerer made seven saves for host Spackenkill, which tied Ellenville 0-0 in the season opener.
Clarkstown North 6, Ketcham 2 — Katie Wall had a goal and an assist and Julia McDaniels also scored for visiting Ketcham. Kristen DeSousa made 14 saves for the Indians.
Ashley Patierno, Amber Diehl and Catherine Graham each won two individual events as visiting Franklin D. Roosevelt beat Middletown 94-86 in an Orange County League meet.
Monroe-Woodbury 113, New Paltz 73 – Abigail Santos won two individual events, but the visiting Huguenots lost an Orange County League meet.
Marlboro, Highland fall – Valley Central defeated Marlboro 77-20 and topped Highland 72-26 in an Orange County League tri-meet.
