Yorktown defeated Somers 11-3 in a lacrosse game at Yorktown High School April 19, 2016.
Something has to give.
Fox Lane has the best offense in Section 1 with the likes of Matt Magnan, Thomas Tenney and Cullen Morgan. Yorktown has the top defense featuring the likes of Jose Boyer, Brett Makar and goalie Liam Donnelly. It’s going to be a fun game to watch, and I’ll be sharing updates and thoughts @lohudlacrosse.
Meanwhile …
Suffern and North Rockland are going head-to-head on the other side of the river in perhaps the edgiest rivalry game in the section. I have some help. You can follow Adrian Szkolar for updates from that contest. He’s our girls lax writer and you can find him @Szkolar_Lohud. If you’re going to the game, please remind him that checking is allowed.
The recaps from today’s games will be up later tonight.
