John Jay lacrosse won 12-11 at Fox Lane April 25, 2016.

There’s not a lot of time left in the season for Section 1 teams, so eliminating mistakes and building momentum are the goals right now. A number of traditional powers – Yorktown, John Jay, Bronxville – are playing as underdogs today, knowing they have to be crisp just to stay close.

I get to spend the day watching my own kids compete, so I won’t be making the rounds. I will have the recaps up late tonight after I get home from the last basketball game of the day.
