The eight remaining teams are walking through a game plan today and will be looking to win Section 1 titles on Sunday at Yorktown High School. Here are my predictions. Again, don’t bet the house. I haven’t been able to get out and see a lot of games, so this is just a fun way to create some conversation. We could definitely see an upset or two. It’s been that kind of a year.

Alex will be on hand for the Class C game. You can follow him @SlimbradyAlex for the updates. I’ll be racing from basketball practice, but will be there for the other three games. You can follow me at @hoopsmbd for the updates. Please, if you’re in the stands and feeling chatty, tag us and we’ll share your thoughts … unless you start picking on the refs. That’s my job.

Remember, there is a charge for admission to Section 1 championships. It’s $8 to get in, $5 for students and senior citizens.

Section 1 Girls Soccer Tournament

At Yorktown High School

Class AA

No. 2 Arlington vs. No. 5 Suffern

1:30 p.m.

Road to the final: The Admirals beat Port Chester, North Rockand and Yorktown. The Mounties beat Clarkstown North, Clarkstown South and Mahopac.

What to watch for: Arlington is the deeper team, but occasionally struggles to finish against talented opponents. Suffern has to play mistake free on defense and possess the ball long enough to wear down the Admirals.

Prediction: Arlington 3, Suffern 2

Class A

No. 1 Somers vs. No 6 Pearl River

4 p.m.

Road to the final: The Tuskers beat Hen Hud, Tappan Zee and John Jay. The Pirates beat Harrison, Lourdes and Eastcheter.

What to watch for: Pearl River has to be especially careful to keep the ball in play on the defensive end just long enough to clear it up the field because Somers is relentless when it comes to creating scoring chances off throw-ins and corners.

Prediction: Somers 3, Pearl River 1

Class B

No. 1 Bronxville vs. No. 3 Albertus Magnus

6:15 p.m.

Road to the final: The Broncos had a bye, then beat Briarcliff and Pleasantville. The Falcons beat Westlake, Putnam Valley and Irvington.

What to watch for: Both teams have a marquee talent, but Albertus has a little more experience and played a tougher schedule during the regular season.

Prediction: Albertus Magnus 4, Bronxville 3

Class C

No. 1 Haldane vs. No. 2 Solomon Schechter

11 a.m.

Road to the final: Haldane beat North Salem. Solomon Schechter beat Tuckahoe.

What to watch for: If the game is close, Haldane will be far more relaxed after playing a number of contenders during the fall. Solomon Schechter can play free and easy, though, with nothing to lose.

Prediction: Haldane 4, Solomon Schechter 1
