Clarkstown and Scarsdale have something in common.
Both of the underdogs have a one-goal win over Suffern this season, and they are meeting this evening at E.J. Murray in the opening game of the Raiders’ annual tournament. I’ll be there, so you can follow me @lohudhockey for scoring updates.

Somers/North Salem 4, Fox Lane 0: Brandon LaSpina and Michael Garrity put the Sabers in front 2-0 after one period. LaSpina added goals in the second and third for a hat trick. Abbie Ives made 39 saves for the Foxes.
Rye 4, Salmon River 1: The Garnets were down 1-0 heading into the third, but Will Tutun and Theo Bresolin scored in the opening minutes of the period. David Ross and Bresolin capped the 4-0 run. Jack Petrucelli made 27 saves for the Garnets.
Saratoga 5, Mahopac 0: Michael Pinto made 33 saves for the Indians. Jake Fauler scored twice for the Blue Streaks.
Greeley 4, Newtown 2: Ryan Renzulli scored twice in the first period and Sam White House made it 2-0 with a goal five minutes into the second. Nick Sloan tacked on an empty-netter for the Quakers.
Mamaroneck B 5, ETBE 3: Tommy Conley had a goal and an assist to lead the Tigers. Greg Sullivan, Luke Wassong, Sam Geroux and Jack Denta also scored.
Clarkstown 8, Mt. Pleasant 1: Adam Marvin had five goals and one assist for the Mall Rats. Luke Myers added one goal and five assists.
Burnt Hills/Ballston Spa 7, Yorktown 4: Liam Donnelly, Cian Keohane, Anuj Gupta and Shaun Benson scored for the Huskers.
Iona Prep 2, Holy Cross 0: Leo Castellaneta netted the first goal of the game with 7:17 to play and Jack Lipsky added the empty-netter. The Gaels put 57 shots on net.
Mamaroneck 9, Pearl River 3: Harrison Schreiber had two goals and one assist to lead the Tigers, who have won three in a row. Alex Ewald and James Torre each added one goal and two assists. Andrew Gargiulo made 17 saves for Mamaroneck. Thomas Murphy had two goals for the Pirates.
Rye Town/Harrison 6, Rivertown 4: Max Picker had the Titans up 5-1 after two periods, but Alex Inglis, Christian Enax and Eric Mendelson brought the Legends within a goal with 6:05 to play. Clay Corpi ended the run with a power-play goal.
