How do you feel about your pitching entering the season? We return all of our pitching from last season and also add a few promising newcomers so it should be an area of strength for our team this year.
Your lineup? We believe that we have a solid group 1-9 and we are confident that we have improved our offense.
Your defense? We are solid up the middle with Mike Kakos (C) and Aaron Craig (SS) and have improved our athleticism and speed at many other positions.
How would you describe your philosophy on how the game should be played? We believe in the process, not the outcome. We stress that hard work and discipline will lead us to success and that striving to win is what is most important to us. We expect our players to come together as a cohesive unit, doing so unselfishly and without thoughts of personal accolades.
How would you assess your team’s chances this season? Being part of one of the strongest leagues in Section 1 will prepare us for the sectional tournament.
When is your opening game? March 29th vs. Riverside.
