Brewster’s Lauren Craft is the lastest #lohudglax Beast of the Week.

After going 4-12 last season, Brewster has emerged as one of the area’s biggest surprises this year.

This week, led by sophomore sensation Lauren Craft, the Bears had a successful week and managed to get themselves into the latest #lohudglax Top 10 Power Rankings.

In three games, the midfielder had 16 goals and won 15 draw controls. She came up biggest in the team’s upset win over Lakeland/Panas on Monday, scoring seven goals and winning seven draw controls. In Friday’s 16-8 win over Briarcliff, Craft led the way with eight goals, to go with four ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Craft, who is committed to Penn State, currently has a team-high 44 goals and 12 games so far this year, while her 12 assists are second-most on the team.
