Loyola used a huge 40-34 win over North Webster to break into the Class 3A Louisiana Sports Writers Association’s prep poll at No. 10. The Flyers are undefeated at 7-0 for the first time since 1976 when they went on to win the Class AAA State Championship..

In Class 5A Evangel remained at No. 6 following its 55-0 win over Captain Shreve. Parkway moved back up to No. 7 following a 48-14 defeat of Booker T. Washington.
Minden (7-0) moved up one spot to No. 4 in Class 4A with a 39-9 win over Bossier. Benton dropped a spot to No. 8 despite blanking Fair Park 31-0.
In Class 2A Many (7-0) remained ranked No. 2 after its 38-0 win over Menard.
Haynesville kept its No.1 ranking in Class 1A as it stayed undefeated (7-0) with a 33-18 win over Cedar Creek.Undefeated Logansport (7-0) kept its No. 4 ranking while Arcadia slipped one spot to No. 8.
