Bishop Manogue senior Anthony Galati signed to play baseball for Centenary College of Louisiana.
Galati, who plays centerfield, has 19 RBIs for the Miners.
He said Centenary stood out among the many schools he visited.
“The academics are super high there. It’s like a Manogue feel. It’s a pretty small school,” Galati said.
He said Centenary has been ranked as high as No. 12 in the nation for Division III schools. He expects to be able to play right away.
“I don’t want to go sit on the bench,” he said.
He plans to study political science.
