Summit (N.J.) rounds out the Top 5 and should be in the team to beat in a highly competitive state. Senior Sara Szynal (Northwestern) will be an offensive centerpiece after totaling 86 goals and 21 assists last season.

In all, seven states and Washington, D.C., are represented in the Preseason Super 25 with 10 teams from New York, five from Maryland and four from New Jersey.

The only team outside the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic corridor is perennial power Milton, Ga., at No. 20. The Eagles have won the last six Georgia 6A titles and 10 in the previous 11 years, but have graduate a number of top players.
