While there’s little difference at the top, and in fact more certainty in the first few spots of the Super 25 girls high school lacrosse rankings, there are significant changes throughout the rest of the list thanks to all sorts of results that have helped shed light on the Mid-Atlantic and Long Island scenes.
With a convincing 19-9 win over previous No. 8 Academy of the Holy Cross (Md.), Georgia powerhouse Milton leaps into the top ten and its resume is supportive of that with head-to-head results against other Super 25 teams.

One of several new additions to this week’s rankings, Episcopal Academy out of Newtown Square, Pa., defeated both previous No. 8 Holy Cross (Md.) and previous No. 9 Agnes Irwin (Pa.), a Philadelphia area rival, to earn a spot in the No. 15 spot this week and help create a variety of movement.
On Long Island, Manhasset rises into the top ten and Middle Country, a team that nearly went undefeated last year, enters the Super 25 for the first time. Other movement sees shifting among additional Long Island teams in the Super 25 ranks.
Elsewhere, several additional teams return to or make their first appearance in the Super 25, including St. Mary’s of Annapolis and Georgetown Visitation (D.C.).
This week brings what could be some of the best games of the year, with No. 6 Bishop Ireton (Va.) hosting No. 2 Good Counsel (Md.) on April 8 and No. 1 McDonogh on April 11.
