Smoky Mountain formally recognized senior Jayce Wolfe for being its all-time leader in assists Tuesday night.
The third-seeded Mustangs hammered visiting No. 30 Bunker Hill, 65-42, in the first round of the NCHSAA 2-A boys basketball playoffs.
Wolfe came into the night with 673 assists. He is averaging a Western North Carolina-best 8.2 assists per game this winter.
